GBP Management at Scale: How ParkBee Made Reserve with Google Work Across Every Location

    Company background

ParkBee is a European parking platform connecting drivers to private parking spaces across hotels, office buildings, and real estate portfolios in the Netherlands, Belgium, the UK, and Germany. Rather than owning car parks, ParkBee partners with property owners to make underused spaces, empty overnight, at weekends, and between tenants, accessible to the public through its app and website. With hotel and office car parks spread across multiple cities, ParkBee's local visibility depended on consistently managing dozens of Google Business Profiles, not just one.

    The challenge

Getting a "Book Now" button onto a Google Business Profile isn't automatic for every industry. For restaurants, a booking link on the profile converts into a button on its own, even without a partner integration. For parking and most other categories, it doesn't. Without a Google-approved partner activating that connection, the only route to a booking button is through an aggregator, a third-party platform that takes a cut of every reservation fee.

That mattered for ParkBee. The point of enabling Reserve with Google was to send drivers straight to ParkBee's own booking system, not to an aggregator sitting between the driver and ParkBee taking a share of the revenue on the way. Getting that direct-to-company link working needed a partner integration in the first place, and getting it working consistently across dozens of locations, rather than piecing it together site by site, was the harder problem. Each ParkBee location needed real-time availability data feeding into its own Google Business Profile, matched exactly to that location's name, address, and category. A booking button that works cleanly at one site but is missing or showing stale data at another doesn't just cost that location a booking. It creates the kind of inconsistency that Google's ranking systems are built to notice, and inconsistent listings quietly lose ground in local search even when nothing about the underlying business has changed.

    The solution

As one of a limited number of Google-approved Action Center partners, GMBapi activated the direct connection between ParkBee's booking system and its Google Business Profiles, the piece that let drivers book straight through to ParkBee itself rather than through an aggregator. From there, GMBapi gave ParkBee a way to deploy and manage that integration across its entire portfolio from a single dashboard, rather than configuring each location by hand. Real-time availability, service data, and booking buttons went live consistently across every ParkBee location at once, kept in sync as inventory and pricing changed. Every profile in the portfolio carries the same completeness: accurate business details, live booking functionality routed directly to ParkBee, and structured service data feeding Google directly.

    The results

Rolling out Reserve with Google at scale, rather than location by location, changed ParkBee's numbers across the portfolio:

    • New users from Google Maps increased by more than 35%
    • Daily purchases jumped over 38%
    • Bookings through the Reserve channel exceeded the old appointment link by 105%
    Client Review
Since implementing the Google Action Centre, we've seen a remarkable lift in performance. New users from Google Maps increased by more than 35%, and daily purchases jumped by over 38%. The real win goes beyond the numbers; the customer journey is now smoother than ever. The Action Center is proving to be a real growth driver for ParkBee.

    The Takeaway

For a multi-location business, a direct booking button is never just a conversion feature. It's revenue that stays with the business rather than being shared with an aggregator, and it's part of the underlying data completeness that Google's ranking systems, traditional and AI-driven alike, use to decide which listings deserve visibility. ParkBee's results came from treating Reserve with Google as infrastructure to activate and roll out consistently across every location, not a one-off setup task. At scale, GBP completeness, direct revenue capture, and local search performance aren't three separate wins. They're the same one.
