How to Remove Reviews from Google My Business?

Follow these steps to potentially have a review removed from your Google My Business listing:
Step 1: Sign in to Google My Business
Access your Google My Business account by signing in with your credentials.
Step 2: Navigate to reviews
Once logged in, navigate to the “Reviews” section within your Google My Business dashboard.
Step 3: Identify the review to be removed
Locate the specific review that you believe violates Google’s review policies or contains inappropriate content.
Step 4: Click on the vertical ellipsis
Besides the review, you’ll find a vertical ellipsis, also known as the “overflow menu,” indicated by three dots. Click on this icon to reveal a dropdown menu where you can select the option to “Flag as Inappropriate” or “Report” the review to Google.
Step 5: Provide reason for removal
Google will ask you to provide a reason for flagging the review. Choose the most appropriate reason from the provided options.
Step 6: Submit the request
After selecting the reason for flagging the review, submit your request to Google for review.
Step 7: Follow up
After submitting your request, periodically follow up to check the status of your request. Google will review the flagged review and determine whether it violates its policies.
Step 8: Seek Legal Advice (if necessary)
In cases where the review contains false information or violates legal regulations, consider seeking legal advice for further options for removal.
