Google announced that it is now displaying long-form videos in the image portion of the Google Business Profile listings on mobile search results. Previously only videos of 30 seconds or less were displayed.
According to Mike Blumenthal who posted on Twitter about this new feature, the longer videos were usually only displayed within the Google Maps interface but not on mobile web search results. This change is expected to provide a much better user experience as it allows businesses to showcase their offerings in a more engaging way.
